Centralized booking system for PPUR to be set up

PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Dec.1 (PIA) -- Booking a trip to the Puerto Princesa Underground River (PPUR) will just be a click away once the centralized booking system is set up.
This was revealed by Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez in this afternoon’s press conference at the Asturias Hotel capping the one-day planning conference of the PPUR Task Force.
He said that a centralized booking system will do away with the hassle of personally going to the PPUR Office to ask for a permit and pay the fee. He said that this system will allow those local and foreign tourists to access it and book a tour anytime and anywhere through the Internet.
He said that this proposal is under study now in the Department of Tourism with a professional group. Implementation and completion of the system will be fast-tracked. (DOS/VSM/PIA-Palawan)
