New radio station opens in Puerto Princesa

PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, 12 December (PIA) -- ITransmission, Inc. will officially begin broadcasting a new provincewide radio station – Radyo Palaweño DZIP-AM today.
The blessing of its studio, office, and transmitter site was held this morning led byled by its President, Roland F. Rodriguez and General Manager Roger Lagasca with guests and its staff and officers .
Radyo Palaweño DZIP-AM has a power of 10 kilowatt and can be found at 864 khz. The station is going to be manned by the seasoned technicians and broadcasters of the defunct DYPR-Palawan Broadcasting Corporation, the pioneer in Palawan airwaves.
Initially, it will broadcast from 5:00 am to 9:00 in the evening daily with offices and station located at the Dimalanta Building, Rizal Avenue this city.
