Representatives of the 6th Civil Relations Group, Civil-Military Operations Command, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), led by Group Commander Col. Roy Philip C. Aguhob PAF (GSC), together with their United States counterparts, paid a courtesy call on Puerto Princesa City Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron today, August 18, 2026, at the City Mayor’s Office.
During the meeting, the delegation briefed Mayor Bayron on preparations for Balikatan Exercise 42-2027 (BK42-27), which will be conducted next year.
As part of the preparations, the delegation informed the Mayor about the assessment of two proposed Humanitarian Civic Assistance (HCA) project sites, one of which is located in Puerto Princesa City. The courtesy call served to formally inform the City Government of the proposed activity and facilitate proper coordination as planning and assessment continue.
Mayor Bayron welcomed the delegation and expressed the City Government’s support for initiatives that strengthen cooperation and bring meaningful benefits to local communities.
