Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron reaffirmed the City Government’s commitment to strengthening cooperativism and expanding opportunities for inclusive economic growth during the 3rd Credit Surety Fund (CSF) Cooperative Premier Series held today, Otober 7, 2026, at Citystate Asturias Hotel.
In his welcome remarks, Mayor Bayron emphasized the important role of cooperatives in addressing the economic, cultural, and social needs of communities, underscoring the value of shared commitment in advancing local development.
The Mayor also highlighted the City Government’s continuing support for the Puerto Princesa City Credit Surety Fund Cooperative, which began with an initial ₱5-million contribution and continues to receive assistance through dedicated office space, full-time personnel, and essential operational support.
He also expressed hope that the gathering would serve as an avenue for meaningful learning, collaboration, and stronger partnerships among CSF cooperatives and stakeholders from across the country.
“Together, we can achieve far more! Mabuhay ang CSF ng Puerto Princesa City!” the Mayor said in his video message.
The event brought together officials and representatives of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), the Puerto Princesa City Credit Surety Fund Cooperative, and CSF cooperatives from different parts of the country.
