
Station Commander of Coast Guard Station Central Palawan, LCDR Emmanuel Agustilo PCG, together with other Coast Guard sub-station commanders, paid a courtesy call on Puerto Princesa City Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron today, August 20, 2026, at the City Mayor’s Office.
During the meeting, the Coast Guard officials briefed Mayor Bayron on their ongoing operations and responsibilities in ensuring maritime safety, security, and law enforcement within their areas of jurisdiction.
They also discussed plans for the possible renovation and improvement of existing Coast Guard sub-stations in Puerto Princesa City, as well as the proposed establishment of two additional bases to strengthen the Coast Guard’s presence and response capabilities on the eastern and western sides of the city.
The officials assured Mayor Bayron of their continued commitment to carrying out their mandate and maintaining close coordination with the City Government in safeguarding Puerto Princesa’s coastal communities and waters.
Mayor Bayron welcomed LCDR Agustilo and the delegation and expressed the City Government’s support for initiatives that will further strengthen maritime safety, security, and emergency response in Puerto Princesa.
