
Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron joined the crowd in witnessing the first-ever Freestyle Motocross (FMX) show in Puerto Princesa, held at the Ramon V. Mitra Sports Complex last night, March 22, 2026.
Accompanying the Mayor was his daughter and former councilor, Raine Bayron, who served as the major sponsor of the historic event that brought world-class FMX riders to the city.
The FMX show featured thrilling aerial stunts, high-level tricks, and world-class performances that captivated the audience. As the first FMX event ever held in Puerto Princesa, it marked a significant milestone in the city’s growing sports tourism initiatives.
Mayor Bayron expressed his full support for initiatives like this, emphasizing their role in providing entertainment to the public while boosting tourism and creating opportunities for the local community.
“There were a lot of people who came to watch at our sports complex for the freestyle motocross, which was held for the first time in the province of Palawan and in Puerto Princesa City. Congratulations to everyone who organized this weekend’s event and to all those who contributed,” Mayor Bayron said.
