Warmest congratulations to the Philippine Dragon Boat Team for bringing home three gold medals at the Kuala Perlis International Water Festival 2.0 in Malaysia, held last September 4-6, 2026.
The Philippine National Dragon Boat Team proudly secured three gold medals in the following events:
• DB12 Open – Gold medalist, clocking the fastest time in the 250-meter event.
• DB6 Open – Major Final – Gold medalist.
• DB6 Open – Minor Final – Gold medalist.
The Philippine Dragon Boat Team is composed of Puerto Princesans and trains with the support of the City Sports Office, under the guidance of Coach Len Escollante. The team conducts its training sessions at Sitio Bucana, Barangay Iwahig, where they continue to hone their skills, discipline, and teamwork in preparation for local and international competitions.
