First look sa bagong design ng ating Skate Park na itatayo sa Balayong People’s Park, Puerto Princesa City!
Alam niyo na rin siguro, matagal na talaga tayong may plano mag tayo ng skate park. Noong una, gusto lang sana natin makapagbigay ng espasyo para sa ating local skating community, pero after further review, bakit ‘di nalang rin natin gawing international standard ang facility na ito? Kaya naman dumaan talaga ito sa mabusising pag-aaral kasama ang Skate Pilipinas.
Ang Skate Pilipinas rin ang tutulong sa atin na mag-oversee ng buong proyekto para masigurado na magagamit ang facility na ito for future skating events, which will help us boost sports tourism in Puerto Princesa. Isa rin ito sa sasagot sa matagal nang hinahanap na international standard na skateboarding facility rito sa Pilipinas.
At ngayon, FINALLY, the City Government of Puerto Princesa, is glad to announce na pirmado na po ang final design ng Puerto Princesa City Skatepark, at dadaan na ito sa necessary paperworks for building permit, bidding, and construction soon!
This Puerto Princesa City Skatepark is a world-class skateboarding facility, designed in full compliance with World Skate Skatepark Facility Certification rules, ensuring it meets the standards for international competitions, including the Olympics and SEA Games.
This skatepark will include:
1) Park Section
– Professional-grade bowl course
– Multiple depth levels (3.00m, 2.5.m, 2.00m, and 1.80m)
– Spine Island
– Jump Box
2) Street Course
– Built for C-Class competitions featuring 2 sections:
• Big Section: Ledge and railings ranging from 0.80m to 1.00m
• Mellow Section: Ledges and railings ranging from 0.50m to 0.65m. Layout includes stairs, ledges, banks, and quarter pipes
3) Open Lawn Garden Bleachers: Located strategically adjacent to the Street and Park/Bowl Complex for spectators
Tuloy-tuloy lang ang trabaho para sa isang tunay na maunlad at progresibong Puerto Princesa. Hindi bukas, kundi ngayon.
