Representing Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron, City Administrator Atty. Arnel M. Pedrosa welcomed a delegation from the Embassy of Romania in the Philippines during a courtesy call at the City Government of Puerto Princesa on Friday, October 23, 2026.
The delegation was led by Dr. Gheorghe Anghel, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Romania, accompanied by Mr. Petrică Badea, Consul of the Embassy.
The visit was made in connection with the inauguration of 7Q Corporation’s sparkling water manufacturing investment in Puerto Princesa City, highlighting emerging opportunities for economic cooperation between Romanian and Philippine business sectors.
Discussions also focused on strengthening potential collaboration in trade, investment, tourism, culture, and people-to-people relations, as well as fostering partnerships with the city’s business community.
The visit underscores the importance of international partnerships in opening opportunities for investment and supporting Puerto Princesa’s continued economic and tourism development.
