Fr. Eugene Elivera, who is also celebrating his birthday, presided the mass. It was attended by the mayor’s family, relatives, and friends, including several department heads and City Government staff.
In his message, Fr. Eugene emphasized to thank God for long life, to thank the family that belongs to despite its imperfections and to thank the mission God has given to each of us.
After the mass, the mayor shared a short message of gratitude.
“Today is important because it is a milestone. Only a small percentage of people on earth reach this level of life… So much has happened in my life and I know He is the reason. Thank you Lord for this destiny He has given me. Thank you for His support in our many accomplishments. It was done with your help. Thank you for the support and inspiration you have given me. Thank you for being a part of my life,” Mayor Bayron’s sincere gratitude.
