
Palawan State University (PSU) President Dr. Venzon L. Limpiada, together with members of his staff, paid a courtesy call on Puerto Princesa City Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron today, July 28, 2026, at the City Mayor’s Office.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the new PSU President to formally pay his respects to Mayor Bayron and express the University’s appreciation for the City Government’s continued support for Palawan State University through the years.
During the meeting, Dr. Limpiada shared updates on the University’s ongoing programs, activities, and infrastructure development projects, including initiatives at the PSU San Rafael Campus. He also expressed his commitment to further strengthening the partnership between Palawan State University and the City Government through closer collaboration on programs that will benefit students and the wider community.
Mayor Bayron welcomed Dr. Limpiada and assured the University’s new leadership of the City Government’s continued support, emphasizing the importance of investing in education and initiatives that will provide greater opportunities for learners.
Mayor Bayron also reaffirmed the City Government’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with Palawan State University in advancing quality education and programs that benefit students and the people of Puerto Princesa City.
