NCR’s elementary tankers Fahad Alkhaldi and Denice Veronica Hong snared two golds each to spearhead NCR’s campaign in swimming, where the Big City bets also established two new meet marks.
Alkhaldi, 13, ruled the boys’ 200m free in 2 minutes, 17.17 seconds, before topping the 100m back in 1:10.72, while Hong booked golden finishes in the girls’ 100m back (1:17.27) and 50m fly (33.39).
The new record holders from NCR were its secondary boys’ 4x50m medley team of Johansen Aguilar, Kevin Lua, Gabriel Castelo and Timothy Yap (1:54.57) and the secondary girls’ 4x50m medley squad of Dorothy Hong, Hannah Dato, Edlyn Son and Carmina Quilala (2:09.30).
