A pupil of Chinese-Belgian descent proved herself as the meet’s fastest runner in her division when she topped the 100m and 200m events, the latter in record fashion, as well as high jump.

Maureen Emily Schrijivers, a grade school pupil of St. Stephen High School in metro Manila, topped the century dash with her 13.0 mark and Friday eclipsed the 10-year-old standard set of 26.94 set by Charmie Cabali of then Western Mindanao with her 26.7 effort in 200m.

Also setting new meet marks are Cordillera’s high school jumper Marla Perlice Ellaga who crossed the bar at 1.61m improving the 1.60 mark Mary Cotoner of Southern Tagalog in 2002.
