LUCILO RODRIGUEZ BAYRON, ran and won as a City Mayor of Puerto Princesa last May 13, 2013 local election and took his oath of office last June 30, 2013 at Capitol Grounds, Puerto Princesa City together with other local elected officials.

Born in Muntinlupa City, on 7th of July 1946, he took his elementary education at Iwahig Elementary School, finished his secondary at Siliman University in Dumaguete City and earned a Degree on Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the University of the East.

For nine (9) years, he held different positions at the Provincial Government of Palawan.  He rose from the rank --- from clerical aide in 1971, he became the Provincial Development Coordinator in 1978 – 1979.

After his stint at the Provincial Government, he decided to venture into business and became a successful businessman.

In 1992 he joined the Hagedorn Administration holding the position of City Administrator.  He was then the “ACTION MAN” of the City Hall.  Allies and friends fondly called him “Charlie Brown.”

He tried his luck in a POLITICAL ARENA in 2001 election and assumed his post as City Vice Mayor on July 22, 2003 when he was declared by the COMELEC as the winner in 2001 local election. He was re-elected as City Vice-Mayor in May 2007 and 2010 elections and served for three consecutive terms.

Upon assuming the post, he immediately went to work by spearheading the “Ugnayan sa Barangay” where the city offices and officials held dialogues with barangay officials and the people while at the same time, deliver basic services.
