Tour Agency

  • DOT accreditation
  • Business Name Registration Certificate (DTI) for Single Proprietorship; Articles of Incorporation / Partnership corporation or partnership.
  • Board Resolution on the designation of the person aurthorized to sign and transact business with the City Tourism Office.
  • List of all officials and employees and their respective positions, citizenship and address(bio-data with photo)
  • List of tour guides indicating their citizenship and home address (biod-data and photo)
  • List of travel representative, consultants, sales agents or persons who are regularly engaged in soliciting and booking of passengers.
  • For alien officials and employees, valid visa from the Commission on Immigration and Deportation and work permit from the Department of Labor and Employment. (Alien Employment Registration Certificate for resident Aliens and Alien Employer Permit for non-resident aliens. Submit papers for resident aliens only once)
  • Surety Bond valid for one year issued by a licensed and accredited bonding company in favor of the City Government of Puerto Princesa, City Tourism Office and conditioned to answer for any liabilities resulting from our incurred in the course of the travel and tour agency operations in accordance with finding and resolutions of the City Government of Puerto Princesa P500,000.00 For inbound and Outboun Operations. Php200,000.00 For Inbound Operations.
  • Contract of lease of office space or a sworn statement that the agency is a lease thereof. Location shall be in a commercial district easily identifiable and shall be used exclusively for the travel agency business.
  • Payment of annual Fee of P1,000.00
  • Latest Income Tax Return and Two-year projected Financial Statement to reflect among other things, a min working capital of P500,000.00.
  • Tourist vehicles registration and plate numbers.
  • Performance Report on sales production of the preceding year.
  • Tariff sheet detailing schedule of charges on all services, tour rates, validity, terms conditions and responsibilities.
  • Qualification of Travel/Tour agency manager: a) Proof that he has at least three (3) years Managerial experience in tour operations or has earned a degree in Bachelor of Science in Tourism or has successfully completed a tour operator’s course; b) Proof that at least two (2) of the permanent staff have at least two (2) years experience in tour operations;
  • Such other papers or documents as may be required pertinent laws, rules regulations and relevant local ordinances.
