Puerto Princesa to host 8th national vegetable congress

Puerto Princesa City (25 January) -- Puerto Princesa City will host the 8th National Vegetable Congress which is scheduled on February 23-25 under the theme "Refocusing the Philippine vegetable industry amidst the challenge of climate change".
The annual activity aims to promote the high-value commercial crops among stakeholders in the private, non-government, and government sectors in vegetable production.
Approximately 1,500 participants are expected to attend this event to be held at the Puerto Princesa City Coliseum. Also invited to come are Agriculture Secretary Arthur Yap, and DENR Secretary Joselito Atienza. (PIA)
