PNP ensures maximum security on MRAA

P/SUPT Reynaldo B. Jagmis guarantees the security of the athletes, officials, and guests to the MIMAROPA RAA Meet during the Solidarity Meeting of the athletic delegation heads, tournament managers, and coaches. Jagmis stated that PNP will provide maximum security to all delegations as well as to the spectators to pre-empt any untoward incidents. To ensure the safety of the delegations and spectators, the PNP, Jagmis reported have established three advance command
posts that are strategically located in the different points of Ramon V. Mitra Sports Complex and likewise dispatched PNP personnel to the billeting venues of the delegations. Jagmis moreover explained that the well planned measures consist of three phases. According to him the first phase is the opening of the Palaro, 2nd phase is during the course of the 5-day competition and the last phase is for the closing of the Palaro. Jagmis made an appeal to the public to report to the nearest PNP outpost any unusual movements of suspicious characters and untoward incidents during the MIMAROPA RAA Meet 2008.
